Motor Vehicle Registration :
** Keep the details related to the vehicle purchased handy before filling up.
** RTO Jurisdiction should be selected properly
** Enter the data correctly and invalid data entry will result in repetitive form filling.

About this application :
** This application is primarily a data collection mechanism for the RTO application.
** In the current scenario some of the dealers are having an offline application which is installed in their premises. Dealers usually enter the data at their local location and print the Form.20 and take the data in some physical media to the RTO and the RTO will upload it direclty to the VAHAN database.
** With the availability of Networked IT infrastructure, this facility is made available to all citizens who purchase the vehicles to enter the details and approach the RTO directly to avoid any delay by the Dealer. One fill up and print Form 20 along with proforma for Inspection by RTO. The data entered will be made available at the RTO once data is finalised by the citizen. This nullified the errors that may araise out of data entry by the Dealer/RTO as the entry is done by the owner himself.
** Fill up the form and note down the inward number for printing form 20 and submit the same to the respective RTO
