How To Apply For Transfer Employment Exchange Card?

Steps:
** Apply in plain paper indicating reason for transfer along with address for communication including residential address of the place where transfer is sought.
** Attach Employment Exchange Registration Card in original along with the application.
** Submit Application in the Employment Exchange where registration exists.

Application Process :
** Ascertaining the eligibility of the transfer of the Employment Exchange Registration Card by the Employment Exchange Officials.
** Candidate can transfer within the State as well as outside the State.
** Visit concerned Employment Exchange.
** Submit Application for transfer clearly indicating name of the Employment Exchange, existing address for communication and residential address of the place where transfer is sought.
** Processing of Application,
** Copy of letter of transfer posted to candidate.
** The candidate is to contact the Employment Exchange Officials of the Employment Exchange where the Employment Exchange Registration Card is transferred.
** The new Employment Exchange Registration Card is issued to the candidate in the Employment Exchange transferred.
** Transfer process is complete.

Eligibility Criteria of Transfer Employment Exchange Card

** To avail transfer in any Employment Exchanges of Assam, the candidate should be a holder of valid Employment Exchange Registration Card.
** Candidate should have been a part of the Live Register of the Employment Exchange for atleast 3 (three) years.

Overview of Transfer of Employment Registration Card

** The candidate becomes a part of the live data of registration in the Employment Exchange where he/she is transferred,
** Being a registered applicant, the candidate is eligible for sponsorship for trainings / coaching under different Govt. schemes,
** The candidate is also eligible for career guidance for self-employment.
** The candidate is sponsored against notified vacancies as per his qualification, age, category, etc.
** The candidate is registered as a fresh candidate but he/she is eligible to carry with him/her his/her original seniority of registration in the Employment Exchange transferred.

Fees including the payment mode:
There is no fee for transfer.

Accompanying Documents required:
** Application for transfer in original.
** Employment Exchange Registration Card in original.

Forms to be filled:
No Form is required. Apply in Plain paper.

Important Timeline:
The submission of application for transfer of Employment Exchange Registration Card is during all working days except Govt. Holidays.

Additional Simplified Procedure

Here’s how to apply for a transfer of your Employment Exchange Card in Assam:

Method 1: Offline application
Prepare an application:
Write an application on plain paper clearly stating your request for a transfer. Mention the reason for transfer and include your current address for communication and the residential address of the place where you want the transfer.

Attach documents:
Along with the application, attach the following documents:
** Original Employment Exchange Registration Card (X-10)
** Any supporting documents (if applicable) justifying your transfer request

Submit the application:
Visit the Employment Exchange where your current registration exists and submit your application with the attached documents to the concerned official.

Processing and response:
The officials will process your application and inform you of the decision through a letter sent to your communication address.

Receiving the new card:
Upon approval, you will receive your new Employment Exchange Registration Card at the transferred Employment Exchange.

Method 2: Online application (Re-registration)
** This method is more suitable if you’re transferring within the same district.
** Visit the Sewa Setu portal of the Assam government: https://sewasetu.assam.gov.in/site/service-apply/re-registration-of-registration-card-of-employment-seeker-in-employment-exchange
** Choose the appropriate registration method based on whether you have an Aadhaar card or not.
** Fill out the online application form and upload scanned copies of required documents, including your current Employment Exchange Registration Card.
** Submit the application and follow the instructions for document verification.
** If approved, your card will be automatically re-registered with the new address and information. You can download a temporary registration slip and collect the physical card from the transferred Employment Exchange later.
