There are two ways to apply for Police Private Employment Verification in Assam:

1. Online:
This is the preferred and faster method. Here’s how to do it:
1. Visit the Assam Seva Setu portal: https://sewasetu.assam.gov.in/site/service-apply/private-employment-verification
2. Register as a citizen: If you haven’t already, create a profile by clicking on “Citizen Registration.”
3. Submit your request: Once logged in, select “Private Employment Verification” and fill out the application form. Make sure to have all the required documents scanned and ready to upload:
** ID Proof of the Employee (e.g., Aadhaar Card, PAN Card)
** Verification Request Letter from Organization (issued by the company hiring you)
** Copy of the Advertisement (optional)
4. Pay the fee: After submitting the form, proceed to pay the required fee online.
5. Track your application: You will receive an acknowledgement SMS and email with your application reference number. Use this number to track the progress of your verification.
6. Download the report: Once the verification is complete, you can download the police report from the portal.

2. Offline:
You can also visit the nearest police station in your jurisdiction and submit the same documents mentioned above. However, the online process is generally faster and more convenient.
