How To Register For Building Workers Act in Jharkhand?

1. Applicants shall be solely liable for correctness and genuineness of information/uploaded documents in the registration form under the Act.

2. Applicants are advised to check the detailed guidelines and rules before submitting their application as fee once submitted will not be refunded.

3. Important Documents to be uploaded:
Establishment Communication Address Proof- Any one of the following documents:
** Electricity Bill
** Telephone Bill
** LPG Connection Document
** Bank Account Passbook

4.Employer Address Proof- Any one of the following documents:
** Aadhaar Card
** Ration Card
** Electricity Bill
** Telephone Bill

5.Employer ID Proof- Any one of the following documents:

** Voter ID Card
** Passport

6. Scanned copy of challan must be uploaded in the application form (if fee paying via treasury).
7. During amendment if estimated date of commencement of building or other construction work or Maximum number of building workers to be employed on any day changes, amendment fee will be taken accordingly.
8. No misuse of Act is acceptable. In case of such issue, it will be punishable under law.
9. Jharkhand Labour department reserves the right to cancel the registration if the details found at any subsequent stage appear to be fraud.
10. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and constituted in accordance with the Indian Laws. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jharkhand.
