How To Apply For TNEI Safety Certificate?
Safety Certificate for New HT / EHT Electrical Installations (or) Additions / Alterations to exisitng Installations.

Procedure & Documents Required:
1. Applicant to fill the online form on the Single Window portal and upload the following documents:
** Letter requesting issue of Safety Certificate (in Applicant’s Letter Head).
** Contractor’s work completion report as per IS 732.
** Copy of appointment order of SCC holder.
** Copy of consent letter from SCC holder.
** Item wise compliance report as stipulated in the drawing scrutiny report, if any.
2. Applicant to make the necessary online payment and submit form on the Single Window Portal.
3. Applicant to submit the test certificate of HV/EHV equiment in original if digitally signed test certificates is not available
4. TNEI Officer shall communicate queries, if any, to the applicant within 7 days of receipt of application
5. Notice for Inspection along with inspection date and time will be communicated via e-mail and SMS to the applicant.
6. TNEI officer will inspect applicant’s premise and issue a Defect Report to the applicant or inspetion report as the case may be within two working days.
7. Applicant shall rectify the defects communicated and upload the rectification report online..
8. TNEI officer shall review the Rectification Report and issue the Safety Certificate within 7 working days online on the Single Window portal

Payment Process:
1) The Applicant has the provision to make the payment by using “IFHRMS Treasury” Payment gateway.
2) Click on ‘Ok’ button, IFHRMS Payment Gateway screen would appear, click on Radio button ‘IFHRMS Treasury
3) Then the payment ‘Reference number’ would be generated, refer the instruction note as shown in the bellow figure.
4) Click on ‘Ok’ button, follow the payment process and make the payment

How To Track TNEI Application Status?
1) After submitting the application, a unique ‘token ID’ would be generated. Using the ‘Token ID’ the Applicant can track the status of clearances by clicking on ‘Track your application’ option.’
2) Applicant to choose the name of the project created during CAF from the dropdown ‘Select project / CAF’ displayed at the top of the page.
Track your application– Overview Option:
By clicking on ‘Overview’ tab, Applicant can view the count of various clearance statuses as follows.
** Total Pending Clearances
** Total Approved Clearances
** Total Rejected Clearances
Track your application– ‘All Details’ Option:
By clicking on ‘All details’ tab, Applicant can view the following statuses of the list of clearances applied for the specified project.

** Last updated date
** Status of the application
** Lying with officer
** Pending days
** On time / Delayed Action
