Note:
No fee for wheel chairs, differently abled person can bring their wheel chair without motor. Wheel chair with motor will not be permitted inside the Zoo premises. The tariff is applicable for Indians & foreigners.
Visitor Amenities of Arignar Anna Zoological Park
** Several amenities have been provided at different locations within the park for the convenience of visitors, including clean RO drinking water, modern and well-maintained restrooms, comfortable seating benches that are tiled and painted, shelters for resting and a designated area for mothers to feed their babies.
** At the entrance of the park, there are dining areas and cloakrooms available and a parking lot near the Zoo entrance on Kelambakkam Road and an additional parking area next to the Zoo rescue centre.
** Free shuttle services are offered from the additional car parking area to the Zoo entrance.
** The park offers battery-operated vehicles, which were introduced in India, to reduce noise and air pollution. Visitors can also rent bicycles for touring the Zoo. A/C and Non-A/C vehicles are available for Zoo Safari.
** Tickets for safari can be purchased both Online & Offline. 20 offline ticket booking counters available in Zoo.
** Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation, Aavin, and TANTEA operate the park’s restaurant & food courts.
** To assist visitors in navigating the park, a road map is provided at all bi-junctions and tri-junctions of the Zoo. Additionally, white arrow marks have been painted on the roads to help visitors guide themselves along the proper route.
** The park management has made an effort to ensure visitors have access to relevant information by placing animal information boards, directional signages and interactive interpretation boards at necessary locations throughout the park.
** Additionally, a guided Zoo map is available for visitors to navigate and explore other interesting features of the Zoo. This map can be accessed through the Vandalur Zoo mobile application.
