Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park, Ranchi is one of the most beautiful and progressive zoos in India having 104 ha of area of mildly undulating topography with natural dry deciduous Sal forests & water bodies in and around it. It provides a natural habitat to wild animals to live in peace and harmony with the nature. It is situated on the Ranchi-Ramgarah section of National Highway 33, on the outskirts of Ranchi and about 20 kms from it.

1. Entry Ticket Fee Details:

2. Children will have a free entry on Independence Day, Republic Day and during Wildlife Week.
3. Some special days with heavy rush of visitors like January 1st, Independence Day and Republic Day etc will have enhanced Entry Fee.
4. Entry of Mobile number is mandatory, and E Mail optional, for booking ticket.
5. Zoo is open from 9 Am to 4:30 PM on all days except Monday, if ticket booked on Monday, is not valid.
6. Entry in to the Park is permitted only on production of valid ticket
7. Visitors purchasing online ticket can produce ticket received by SMS or E-Mail
8. Ticket is valid only for the day for which it is purchased.
9. Ticket once purchased can not be cancelled.
10. No refund will be made for unused tickets, and no correspondence will be entertained..
11. Fee for other amenities like Electric Vehicle, Boating, Snake house etc, is not included in the entry Fee. The said facilities are available to the visitors at extra cost.

The Biological park is open on all days of the week, except Monday, from 9 am to 5 pm. In winter, tickets are issued till 4 pm, and in summer till 4.30 pm.
