How To Apply For Transit Pass at Kerala TIMBER Portal?

TIMBER Portal is a digital initiative of the Kerala Forest & Wildlife Department to modernise and streamline forestry services for all citizens. An applicant can apply for a transit pass only after the Revenue Department approves the application.

1.Register Online:
Create your account on the TIMBER portal using your Aadhaar and mobile number.

2.Submit Application:
Fill in tree details, upload mandatory documents and submit your cutting permission request.

3.Officer Review:
The application details and documents are verified by the officer before initiating the field inspection.

4.Field Inspection:
A designated forest officer visits the site to verify tree details and conduct a physical inspection.

5.Get Permission:
Download your approved cutting permission certificate and apply for a transit pass via NTPS.

For Timber Transit permit requests, the system integrates with the NTPS portal to manage the process. Applicants can track the status of their requests at every stage through the Application Status page.
