Any time of the day is suitable for visiting the Zoo. Coving to its lush green cover, the orientation of animal houses and visitor amenities. Those who wish to focus on only big cats are advised to schedule the visit early morning or evening as cats tend to rest during the day. There are 149 species housed at the zoo.

Teachers / Education Institutions: For availing the facility of concession rate to students, please bring the students list in school letter head and it should be signed by head of the institution along with seal. Students must be in uniform and should bring individual laminated ID cards issued by the institution or provide a DEO (District Education Officer) Permission Letter
Mysuru Zoo Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Ticket Cancellations Once a ticket is purchased for Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens (Mysuru Zoo), it cannot be cancelled. We do not offer any option to modify dates, change time slots, or cancel tickets after the payment has been processed.
2. No Refund Policy As per our strict policy, there are NO REFUNDS for any booked tickets, battery-operated vehicle seats, or luggage storage fees.
** The dates of the visit cannot be changed.
** Missed slots for Battery Vehicles will not be refunded.
3. Failed Transactions In the case where an amount was deducted from your bank account but no ticket was generated due to a technical error, please contact us. Such valid failed transaction refunds will be processed within 5-7 working days to the original payment mode.
