What is MAMATA-PMMVY Scheme?

The MAMATA-PMMVY Scheme is a conditional cash transfer maternity benefit programme of the Government of Odisha, implemented by the Women & Child Development Department to address maternal and infant under nutrition. Under the scheme, eligible pregnant women receive financial assistance of 212,000 for the birth of a girl child and 210,000 for a boy child as partial wage compensation, encouraging improved nutrition, health-seeking behaviour, and greater utilization of maternal and child health services.

Eligibility Criteria of MAMATA-PMMVY Scheme

** Women belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. O Women who are partially (40%) or fully disabled (Divyang Jan). O Women having Ration Card.
** Women Beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (PMJAY) under Ayushman Bharat.
** Women having e-Shram card. O Women farmers who are beneficiaries under Kisan Samman Nidhi. O Women holding MGNREGA Job Card.
** Women whose net family income is less than Rs.8 Lakh per annum (as per PMMVY guidelines).
** Pregnant and Lactating AWWs/ AWHs/ ASHAs.
** Any other category as may be prescribed by the Central/State Government.

Benefits of MAMATA-PMMVY Scheme

** Under the scheme, eligible pregnant women receive financial assistance of 212,000 for the birth of a girl child and 210,000 for a boy child as partial wage compensation, encouraging improved nutrition, health-seeking behaviour, and greater utilization of maternal and child health services.
** The scheme covers up to two live births for pregnant women from households with an annual family income below 8 lakh, including beneficiaries from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).
** In recognition of their unique demographic vulnerability, the two-live-birth norm is relaxed for PVTG communities, allowing them to avail benefits for all live births.

How To Apply For MAMATA-PMMVY Scheme?

To apply for the MAMATA-PMMVY Scheme (run by the Government of Odisha), eligible pregnant women must register through their Anganwadi Centre with the help of an Anganwadi Worker (AWW) or ASHA worker.

Documents Required For MAMATA-PMMVY Scheme

** Aadhar Card.
** Aadhar mapped bank/post office account details.
** Valid mobile number.
** Mother and Children Protection Card(MCP).
** Any one of the documents is required to be uploaded as eligibility proof at the time of registration.
** They are Caste Certificate/Disability certificate/PMJAY Card/Kisan Samman Niddhi Card/ Income Certificate/ Ration Card/ e-Sharm Card / MGNREGA Job Card, Identity Card(AWW,AWH,ASHA) etc. as proof of eligibility.
** Any other documents that may be prescribed by the Central/State Government.
