FAQ On EPFIGMS

1. Whether the member can correct his Date of Birth or to furnish the missing information of previous employment particulars through the present employer.
No, the correction in date of birth in the previous employment can be made through the previous employer only.

2. Why are the KYC details re-confirmed by the present employer when the process of resubmission of KYC details is already available to the member himself directly?
The re-confirmation of the KYC details by the present employer leads to generation of auto transfer claim.

As the process of transfer of accounts initiated thereafter has financial implications, it is necessary that the credentials of member are verified by the present employer viz.-a-viz. the information furnished by the previous employer. The KYC details of members helps in the authentication of the member by both the employers.

3. Why is it that the member activation is necessary for completing the process of auto transfer?
The idea behind linking activation to EPFO services was to ensure that the members get updated status of any transactions taking place in their PF accounts on the mobile no. registered through activation.

Some Important Information From Comments

Comments:
1. My PF Number is MH/VA/117817/XXXXX (Reliance Retail Ltd). While checking online, its showing zero balance and there is no Joining date and leaving date. My date of joining with this company is 22nd September 2012 and relieving date is 14th March 2014. I have applied transfer request from this account to my new account. Still it has not transfer.Kindly help me to transfer this account.

2. My source company was Chola Business service Ltd. I had applied for my PF claim in the month of May 2015. My PF number is TN/51445/XXXXX and I had submitted all the required documents while applying for PF. Already 4 months got over. Still, I have not received any response for my claim. So, kindly request to get status and updating on my claim at earliest. Please check the issue if from employer side.

Error / Problem:
1. I have applied for PF on 13.04.2016, but later I got message saying that rejected. Rejection letter is under dispatch. But, till now there is no letter and I mailed to SRO VASHI also no response. And now while am registering complaint in REGISTER GRIEVANCE, it is not taking, it is not working properly. All the details given while clicking on submit button, it is not taking. What to do to know the status, or to make a complaint? Please help.

Benefits of Registering A Grievance On EPFIGMS

Additional Simplified Procedure

You can register a grievance with EPFIGMS online by following these steps:
1. Go to the EPFIGMS website: https://epfigms.gov.in/
2. Click on the “Grievance Registration” tab.
3. Enter your UAN and password.
4. Click on the “Login” button.
5. Enter the details of your grievance, such as the type of grievance, the date of the grievance, and the details of the issue.
6. Upload a scanned copy of any supporting documents.
7. Click on the “Submit” button.

You will receive an acknowledgement number on your registered mobile number once your grievance is submitted. You can track the status of your grievance by entering the acknowledgement number on the EPFIGMS website.

Here are some important things to note:
** You can register a grievance online from anywhere in the world.
** You will need your UAN and password to register a grievance online.
** You will need to upload a scanned copy of any supporting documents to register a grievance online.

  1. I am joined in Maihar Cement on 17/02/1997 ,Trust no . MP/JBP/8524/439(RPFC JABALPUR),But my service is showing the system UAN NO.100075112120 in 01/04/1999.
    So,kindly correct my date of joining i.e.17/02/1997.

    MY SERVICE HISTORY ARE FURNISHING BELOW :-

    ACTUAL JOINING ON 17-02-1997 to MP/JBP/8524/439(RPFC JABALPUR)
    TRANSFERRED ON 01-04-1999 to MP/JBP/4767/2057(RPFC JABALPUR)
    TRANSFERRED ON 01-10-2019 to NG/NAG/23424/680527(RPFC NAGPUR)
    So kindly request to get status and updating on my claim at earliest. Please do the needful .

    I have not received my pension amount from 10/4/2016 to 30/11/16. First pension of Dec/16 is credited in my account. But arrears is not credited in my a/c for above period. PF office said they send arrears but SBI bank said as they did not received any cheque. I am from Baroda Gujarat. My pf no is Rj10509/0000175. My UN no is 100237498532.

My former employer (M/s Choudhury diagonostic & hospital,add:kashipur Road .Adra.Purulia-723131,worked from 01:10:2012 to 28:02:2014 as Staff nurse. My PF no is WB/DGP/0058831/000/0000007. As I have resigned there & joined another concern & applied for withdrawing the proceeds from my above A/c they are not Certifying the form & harassing me a lot since that time.     We bring to your kind notice that we have sent a sum of Rs.215201 through demand draft bearing No. 063252 dtd 06/07/2006 towards remittance of past provident fund accumulation. Same amount was credited to your department accounts. This is submitted in special proforma No.77 for all 15 employees of your organization.
    Upon verification of subscribers annual statement of account for all employees, the above about is not included in the statement of accounts. Whether this amount is included in the statement of a/c please inform to us on which date the amount was included. In this regard letter correspondence made by our organization. There is no sufficient reply from your concerned department. So we request you to please consider this in the annual slips to the subscribers. Hope your best attention at all time.

  15. My PPO NO. is CPM20010. I took voluntary retirement from the State Trading Corporation of India, a Public Sector Undertaking in Feb’2001. My pension was fixed at Rs.893/-per month. The minimum pension was revised by the EPFO to Rs1000/-p.m wef September’2014 but unfortunately my pension is being credited in my S/B Account No.3086000300282165 maintained with the PNB , C Block Vasant Vihar, New Delhi 110 057 @ Rs.944/- only per month. I do not understand why. I have NOT repeat or NOT taken or opted for commutation of my pension at any point of time. Even then I am getting a pension of Rs.944/-p.m. though I should be getting a minimum pension of Rs.1000/- p.m. Kindly check up your records and release the correct amount of pension due to me along with arrears.

    Our HO ( GGN) has submitted my file in the month of June 2015.

    I have recd only PF amt and not the Pension amt / status as on date.

    I am trying all the nos for the same but unfortunately no body is answering the calls properly.

    If I check in the net, it is showing as UNDER PROCESS for the last two months.

    Myself Thomas Jacob Nelly; my PF Number TH/VSH/0221691/000/0000160

    I have applied for Pension Transfer from SRO Bellary to SRO Vashi (Maharashtra) bearing code number KN/17173/25613 to TH/VSH/0221691/000/0000160 in month of December 2014. SRO Bellary Pension service had confirmed that it had already transferred to SRO Vashi office in January 2015.
    As proof of the transfer I had also submitted hard copy of Annexure ‘K’ to Vashi SRO office.

    Meanwhile, I have submitted my Form-10D to SRO Vashi office along with all required documents; I have been regularly pursuing the matter with them since last SEVEN months in no avail. You will appreciate that my pension which is due from January 2015 on-wards (I had completed 58 years on 10.12.2014) is deprived to me as the result.

I spoke to Bangalore pf office. They told me to submit pan card. I have given that also and they had told me within 10 days you will receive the amount but till now I have not received the amount requesting you to please send my pf amount as soon as possible
