The entire digitized beneficiary list with basic information has been uploaded on the State PDS Portal and can be viewed by anyone on Official website.

2. Where can I register complaint related to ration card/ration distribution or other PDS activities?
The complainant can register his/her complaint on Toll Free No. 1800 1800 150 or may directly register complaint on web portal

3. Does NFSA increase the number of beneficiaries to get ration at Rs. 2/- & Rs. 3/-?
As per the previous TPDS system, only AAY families comprising of 16.22 lakh individuals were getting ration on Rs. 2/- and Rs. 3/- where as under NFSA, 14.38 crore individuals are getting ration at these rates.

4. What are the aims and objectives of the scheme ‘End-to-end Computerization of TPDS Operations’ in the country?
Computerization of TPDS operations has been taken up with the aim to improve the efficiency of the current system and to address various challenges such as leakages and diversion of foodgrains, fake and bogus ration cards, lack of transparency and weak grievance redressal mechanisms.

5. What is the transparency portal for TPDS?
All States/UTs have been asked to develop a single transparency portal which should have all TPDS related data and information available for public view without restriction on access and the same should be widely publicized.

The transparency portal of Food & Civil Supplies Dept, hosts information in public domain, such as lists of beneficiaries, Fair Price Shops, Storage godowns, F&CS offices / officers, monthly allocation, actual off-take etc.

The content on the portal is bilingual (Hindi & English). Information about dispatch of foodgrains to Fair Price Shops is disseminated through SMS to the registered individuals in the local community.

About Us

Civil Supplies Department and rationing in 1946 by merger of the Department of Food and Civil Supplies Department was established, and the charge was made to the secretary of the state government. Two commissioners who have been appointed under secretary commissioner (food) and Commissioner (rationing) called.

In 1947, the Secretary and the Commissioner’s office was one. Until 1967, the Secretary, Food and Logistics Department commissioner, food and logistics department also been undertaken. Commissioner, Food and Civil Supplies Department has deployed April 20, 1967 but the arrangement was terminated on 8 August 1967 again and became a secretary and commissioner’s office again.
