How To Apply For DOTE Diploma Marksheets Duplicate?

** Apply through Principal in the format prescribed (available at DOTE website) .tndte.com
** Marksheets issued by DOTE within last 5 years : Rs 60 per marksheet +RS 20 for bank charges-Indianbank online Challan.

** Marksheets issued by DOTE before 10 years : Rs 120 per marksheet+ Rs 20 bank charges- Indianbank online Challan. Fees for Certificates issued by DOTE before 10 years- Rs 300/- per Certificate /Mark sheet
** Duplicate of Provisional Certificate will not be issued.

How To Apply For DOTE Migration Certificate?

** Apply in prescribed format with a copy of Diploma / Provisional Certificate through Principal of the concerned polytechnic college. Indian bank online Challan for Rs 100/-is to be enclosed.

** All applications requesting to issue Duplicate Diploma, Duplicate Marksheet and Migration Certificate should be addressed to the Chairman, Board of Examinations, Directorate of Technical Education, Guindy-25 only.

** As far as Autonomous Polytechnic Colleges are concerned, Duplicate of Diploma Certificate will be issued by DOTE on request. Duplicates / Corrections of mark sheets of Autonomus colleges will be done only at the College level and not at DOTE.

Verification of Genuineness of Certificates :
Diploma Certificates/Provisional Certificates / Mark Sheets issued by DOTE alone will be verified and Genuineness Certificate will be issued on request.
Apply to the Chairman, Board of Examinations, Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai-25 with a copy of Certificate to be verified along with Indian Bank online Challan.

** Certificates issued by DOTE within 10 years –Rs 200/- per Certificate / Mark sheet

The above charges are not applicable to applications received from Govt. Public Department (FOR III), District Collectorate and other Govt. Departments.

Transcript :
Transcripts of Diploma /Provisional /Mark sheets will be issued on application. Apply to the Chairman, Board of Examinations, Directorate of Technical Education,Chennai -25. with Xerox copies of all Certificates for which Transcript /Attestation is needed (One set of extra copy is to be attached)

1. I am a supplementary candidate. Can I pay my diploma exam fee directly at DOTE?
No., Exam fee can be paid only at the respective Polytechnic College.

2. I am a supplementary candidate and would like to write some of my arrears subjects. Whom should I contact to know the equivalent subjects under the latest scheme?
You may contact the Curriculum Development Cell at DOTE.

3. I am a supplementary candidate working outside Tamil Nadu. Can I download my diploma hall ticket directly from the website?
No. Hall ticket shall be received only from the principal of the respective Polytechnic College.

4. I have just completed my 3 year diploma course. I have some arrears. How many more chances will be given to me to pass all my arrears?
You will be given 6 more chances (3 years) to complete your arrears. After exhausting all 6 chances you will get two more Additional chances in the next calendar year.

1. I have lost my diploma mark sheets from 3rd semester to 6th semester and submitted my application to college on 22nd May. I need the mark sheets before 30th June for registration of Professional Engineers Board. What is the processing time, is there possible to get before 30th June? Please suggest otherwise let me know, if any alternate solution to expedite the process.

2. I approached Madras University and applied for Degree certificate which I lost in Chennai flood. I applied degree certificate on December 19th which I approached University in flood camp, I lost my degree certificate in flood at Ambal Nager, Pallikarani, Chennai. Presently, I am staying at Bangalore and unable to contact our university in direct manner and telephone attenders also not responding well.

3. I want to correct my date of birth in diploma certificate. I passed diploma in Mechanical engineering in 2014.
