PULL SMS Service

The PULL SMS service allows you to request for and receive information pertaining to your SBI/ TATA Card as an SMS. All you need to do is SMS ‘KEYWORD specified for your query’ <space> <Last 4 digits of your SBI or TATA Card no.’ to the short-code 5676791.

FAQ On PULL SMS Service

Do I need GPRS to access the PULL SMS service?:
No. You can avail this service from all mobile phones using the standard SMS service. You do not need any GPRS connection to use this service.

Can I avail this service from any mobile no.?:
No. You can avail this service only from the mobile no. registered with us against your SBI/ TATA Card.

You can update or register your mobile no. in 2 simple ways:

Is this service free?:
For every SMS request that you send on 5676791 to fetch information on your SBI/TATA Card, you will be charged premium charges. This charge is levied by your Operator and the SMS service provider and not by SBI/ TATA Card. Please check with operator for the charge levied for this service.

I have just received my upgraded SBI Card. Can I still fetch information about my old card?:
If your current SBI Card has been upgraded and a new card sent to you, all details of your old card would be migrated to your new card. You can SMS the ‘Keyword’ <space> <Last 4 digits of the new card no.> to 5676791

How soon can my card be blocked once I send the request through Simply SMS?
We will block your card, the moment we receive your card block request through SMS. We will also send you a confirmation SMS about the same. If you do not receive a confirmation SMS from us within 5 minutes of your request, please do not consider the card to have been blocked. Please call up our helpline, and get your card blocked immediately in order to avoid any misuse.

Here are the steps on how to do it:

2) XXXX is the last 4 digits of your SBI Card number.
3) You will receive an SMS with your current balance.

You can also use the following keywords to get other information about your SBI Card account:
1) AVAIL XXXX to get your available credit limit.
2) REWARD XXXX to get your reward points summary.
3) PAYMENT XXXX to get your last payment status.
4) DSTMT XXXX MM to get a duplicate statement for the month MM.
5) ESTMT XXXX to subscribe to e-statements.
6) OTP XXXX to get a One Time Password (OTP) for IVR or mobile transactions.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when using Simply SMS:
** You must use your registered mobile number to send the SMS.
** You can only get information about your SBI Card account.
** You cannot use Simply SMS to make payments or changes to your account.

  19. I just wanted to know where is my card? I received a SMS that it will be delivered within 9 business days last month but its almost 1 month and no info. Can’t track the card too as website is not working. Also got a call one day from a very rude agent. Not good enough.
