What documents are required ?:
** Application form duly attested by a person as presribed in the application form.
** SC/ST certificate of father, brother, sister or of his/her blood relative from paternal side.

** Affidavit in case of SC/ST certificate issued from outside Delhi in prescribed proforma.
** Proof of residence (Ration Card / Voter I-Card).
** Proof of Date of Birth (Birth certificate, School certificate or passport).

What will be the criteria used while deciding my case?:
In case where the applicant is a permanent resident of Delhi & has appended a copy of SC/ST certificate issued to any member of his family, no local inquiry is conducted. In such case, verification is done from record available in office of SDM or CCS branch in office of Divisional Commissioner. Where the record is not available in office of SDM or CCS branch, a local inquiry is conducted.

In case, no member of the applicant’s family has been issued a certificate earlier, a local enquiry is conducted.

In case of a married woman, the local enquiry is conducted at the place of residence prior to marriage as well as the place of residence after marriage.

Such certificate cannot be issued to a person if he is already in possession of such certificate issued by the Competent Authority.

What is the application fee ?:
NO FEE Required.

Where to apply ?:
You can approach to the SDM of your area or you can also approach the concerned O/o the Deputy Commissioner during 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on any working day.

You can also APPLY ONLINE.

What is the Response time ?:
SC Delhi State certificates are issued in 14 days.

SC Other State certificates are issued in 21 days, provided inquiry from other state is received.

  1. I had applied SC certificates for my both children. In this regard I had submitted all documents along with SC certificate my self and my father’s also and during the submission of form 3 to 4 times documents were checked by their employees and then submitted in the counter. They have given me the Application Nos. 90510000039079 & 90510000039072 for my both children’s. Now a message has been received that your application have been rejected . I could not understand when I had submitted my all documents related to this. Kindly issue me at the earliest

  2. I applied my SC certificate. It is rejected. In this case I have no any information. So what I want to do to bring my sc certificate?

  3. I applied in Delhi for st certificate
    It got rejected case. Because I am outside of Delhi and belong to Karnataka state. So affidavit issued prescribed format
    Please tell me suggestion and format
