Annusuchit Jati Chhattra Ucch Shiksha Protsahan Yojna

** In order to motivate parents of SC girls and to arrest heavy drop-out after passing 10+2 examination and also to reduce adverse female ratio, a new scheme namely “Annusuchit Jati Chhattra Ucch Shiksha Protsahan Yojna” has been launched from the year 2009-10 by the department.

** Under this scheme scholarship ranging between Rs 5000 to Rs 14,000 p.a. is being given to SC girls studying in science, commerce and professional streams.

Eligibility :
** Applicant should be Haryana domiciled & should belong to scheduled caste.
** Annual Income of the parents/guardians Should be more than 1.00 lac and less than 2.40 lacs.
** Only those students are eligible that have not got benefit another schemes.

How to apply :
** Have application from DWO/TWO or download it from department website.
** Duly filled application with documents must be submitted to the concerned institution.

Conditions and Eligibility :
** The students should belong to Scheduled Castes and should be bonafide resident of Haryana State.
** Annual income of the parents/guardians of the students should be between above Rs.1.00 lacs to less than Rs. 2.40 lacs per annum.
** The students who are once awarded scholarship under this scheme and secure promotion to the next higher class will get renewal of scholarship in the next class for the whole duration of that course.
** The students who are awarded scholarship under this scheme will not be entitled to get scholarship under any other scheme except meritorious scholarship/incentive.
** The award of scholarship is subject to satisfactory progress and conduct of the student.
** If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by giving false statements her scholarship will be cancelled forthwith and the recovery of amount of scholarship paid will be at the discretion of the State Govt.

How to Apply:
** Complete application in the prescribed Performa given below along with all relevant document e.g. attested copies of Scheduled Caste certificate ,
** Income Certificate, Haryana Domicile certificate , Bank Account No., proof of promotion to the Higher class and original fees paid for admission in the course/class by the student is to be submitted to the head of the
** concerned institution. The Head of the concerned institution shall forward all the applications (in original) under the signature of competent authority with seal to the District Welfare Officer concerned in which the institute is situated.
** The students who are studying out of Haryana, their applications should be forwarded to the District Welfare Officer of the district to which the student actually belongs

The Welfare of Schedule Castes & Backward Classes Department implements various schemes for the Welfare of Schedule Castes & Backward Classes in the State of Haryana. The main function of the Department is to coordinate and supervise the activities of other departments in the matter of implementation of various schemes designed for the Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes and De-notified Tribes.
