MCI Application Submission & Tracking System

Medical Council of India provides an opportunity for qualified medical professionals to apply for all Registration, Eligibility, Additional Qualification, Good Standing, Temporary Registration and IMR Certificate(s) through online.

It also provides an option to track the status of application online that are submitted to Medical Council of India through a Candidate Reference No. provided by the system during the submission of application online. However Candidates can also apply through physical application Form.

Note:
The candidates should take a print out of the Acknowledgment and Online Application Form generated through the system and submit the application to MCI duly signed by the applicant, with all supportive documents and Fee(Demand Draft) within one month from the date of submission of application online at the address given below.

In case of Good Standing, the application should be submitted to MCI through “Registrar,State Medical Council” with whom the candidate is registered and should reach MCI within six months from the date of submission of application online.

How to apply:
General Instructions:
1. Carefully choose the application you want to apply for through online from the homepage and proceed by entering all the details required as part of the application.
2. Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID. It should be kept active for the duration of Certificate Generation Process.
3. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying online.
4. The name of the candidate or his/ her father/ husband etc should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates issued from MCI.
5. On successful submission of application, the system wil generate a unique Candidate Reference No. (CRN) for the application. You should note / remember your system generated Candidate Reference No. (CRN) for future reference and use.
6. The system will provide you with options “Acknowledgment” and “Online Application Form” on successful submission of application online.
7. Take a print out of the “Acknowledgment” and “Online Application Form” and attach the demand draft for the fee ( Refer Fee Structure) and supported documents ( Refer Checklist) required as part of the application and submit the application to Medical Council of India within one month from the date of submission of application online.

Forms Submission Rules:
1. Application should be submitted to Medical Council of India within one month from the date of submission of application online. (i.e) If date of submission of application online is 18th May 2008, then the last date of submission of application at Medical Council of India along with fee and supportive documents on or before 18th June 2008.
2. Good Standing application should be submitted to MCI through “Registrar,State Medical Council” with whom the candidate is registered and should reach Medical Council of India within six months from the date of submission of application online.
3. Print out of Acknowledgment and Online Application Form are mandatory as part of the application submitted to Medical Council of India. Your application will not be accepted and processed by Medical Council of India without the Acknowledgment and Online Application Form.
4. Your application should reach Medical Council of India along with the supportive documents on or before the last date of submission.
5. If your application along with the supportive documents does not reach Medical Council of India on or before the last date of submission, it will not be accepted and processed.
6. If the last date of submission of your application is Saturday / Sunday / National Holiday, the last working day before the last date of submission is considered as the last date of submission of application at Medical Council of India.
7. For fees and supportive documents required to be submitted as part of the application, please refer to Fee structure and Checklist links provided at top of the page.
8. Those candidates who are already holding registration with State Medical Councils need not apply for further registration with Medical Council of India as their names are enrolled in the Indian Medical Register through the State Medical Councils. The applications for such cases will be rejected. However they may apply for issue of Indian Medical Registration Certificate.

How To Track MCI Application?

1. On successfull submission of any application online, a unique “Candidate Reference No. (CRN)” is generated by the system for each application.
2. Candidate(s) can use the “Candidate Reference No. (CRN)” for tracking an application status online. It can also be used for any correspondence with Medical Council of India regarding an application.
3. To track and get to know the status of an application,provide the “Candidate Reference No. (CRN)” at the home page and click on “View Status”.

  1. I have applied for Eligibility certificate at the time of admission for MBBS course abroad in Kyrgystan with the fee of Rs, 2000/by a draft no 975497 by Laxmi Villas Bank on 11/08/2017. I have not been issued neither the eligibility nor the CRN no, Pl. advise how can I get the same?
