How To Activate EPF UAN Registration?

UAN stands for Universal Account Number. The UAN will act as an umbrella for the multiple Member Ids allotted to an individual by different establishments.

The idea is to link multiple Member Identification Numbers (Member Id) allotted to a single member under single Universal Account Number.

Universal Account Number (UAN) MEMBER e-SEWA :
1. Enter Your UAN Number
2. Enter Your Password
3. Enter Captcha code shown below.
4. Click on sign in button

This will help the member to view details of all the Member Identification Numbers (Member Id) linked to it. If a member is already allotted Universal Account Number (UAN) then he / she is required to provide the same on joining new establishment to enable the employer to in-turn mark the new allotted Member Identification Number (Member Id) to the already allotted Universal Identification Number (UAN).

EPF Members

** EPFO has launched an Universal Account Number (UAN) based Member Portal to provide a number of facilities to its members through a single window
** Activate your registration to avail various facilities such as UAN card download, member passbook, updation of KYC information etc.
** As of now, only active members (contribution received through ECR for the wage month October 2013 onwards) would be able to register themselves.
** For registration, obtain UAN from your employer alongwith your member ID.
** Your mobile number would be required to activate registration.

Note:

** One mobile number can be used for one registration only.
** A member can view the passbooks of the EPF accounts which has been tagged with UAN.
** The facility of passbook is not available for members of establishments having exemption under the EPF Scheme 1952.

1. When click on the link, the page is not opening? What to do, who is responsible for the link government (or) the site maker? How many days, it takes the time to open the link? I have tried the all links given above but I couldn’t access the site. Is it the digital India?

1) Go to the EPFO website: https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/
2) Click on the “Member Login” tab.
3) Enter your UAN number and date of birth in the “UAN” and “DOB” fields, respectively.
4) Click on the “Login” button.
5) You will see a page with your EPFO UAN status.

The status may be one of the following:
1) Active: Your UAN is active and you are eligible to make PF contributions.
2) Inoperative: Your UAN is inoperative and you are not eligible to make PF contributions.
3) Suspended: Your UAN is suspended and you are not eligible to make PF contributions.
4) Cancelled: Your UAN is cancelled and you are not eligible to make PF contributions.
