FAQ On BWSSB Water Bills Online Payment
Consumers can register at bwssb.org to view and make their water bill payment online. Below are a few Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. How to make online payment at bwssb.org ?:
To use the online payment facility, you have to register and login at www.bwssb.org. On login, click on “View & Pay Bills” to make the payment. Confirm the RR Number and click on “Proceed”. Select the “Bill Details” tab to know the outstanding amount. Accept the Terms and Conditions for making online payment. Click on “Pay Now”. This will take you to the payment gateways. Select any one of the available payment gateway (AXIS/ICICI/IDBI Bank) to make the payment.
2. What type of payment options is available?:
Consumers can make their water bill payments through the payment gateways AXIS/ICICI/IDBI Bank using any credit or debit card which is Visa/ Master/ Maestro Card issued by any private or nationalized bank.
3. To make online payment AXIS/ICICI/IDBI Bank is available, but I do not have account in any of these banks. How do I make the payment?
The AXIS/ICICI/IDBI Bank is a payment gateway and will accept any credit or debit card which is Visa/ Master/ Maestro Card issued by any bank. Kindly proceed and make the payment if your debit or credit card is Visa/ Master/ Maestro card.
4. I want to make a part payment. How can I make the payment?:
Payments can be made only against the total bill amount. This has been implemented to avoid any discrepancies and help consumers to make the payment for the correct amount.
5. I want to use Net banking. How can I use this facility to make the payment?:
Acceptance of payment through net banking is not enabled. We will enable the same shortly.
6. How to take the print of the water bill?:
Login and click on “View & Pay Bills”. Confirm the RR Number and click on “Proceed”. Select the Bill Details tab, where you can view and also print/ save your bill for the current month and also for the last six months.
7. I want to view the Bill/Consumption/Collection data for the last six months:
Login and click on “View & Pay Bills”. Confirm the RR Number and click on “Proceed”. Select the “Bill Details” tab, to view and also print/ save your bill for the current month and also for the last six months. Select the “Consumption Details” tab to view your consumption pattern in the last six months and the current month. Select the “Collection Details” tab to view the current and last six months payment details.
8. I want to view/print the receipt for the online payment I have made:
Login and click on “View & Pay Bills”. On this page you will find a link “View Your E-Payment Details”. Click on this link to view/print your e-payment (online payment).

Some Important Information From Comments
Error / Problem:
1. Our house is under BWSSB Sub Division NE3. Bill Number is N-318988110 raised in the month of NOVEMBER includes an arrear amount of Rs.42 and interest on arrears of Rs.3 although the water bill #N-318988100 which was raised in the month of OCTOBER was paid in full vide receipt #392 with an excess amount of Rs.8 Via KIOSK ID : 814-SANJAYNAGAR. In case any mistakes happened in your BILLING, I am sure you understand that the consumer must not be penalised by charging interest over and above the mistaken amount for no fault of him. May I expect a reply to clear the confusion taking suitable corrective action in the case?

Name mistake in BWSSB bill, if I enquire to correct the name in the R.T.Nagar water Supply board, the case worker is questioning to bring “UTTARA PATHRIKA” from BBMP office. 30 Years back mannual ledger was been maintaining in office now they update in computer, while updating to the computer, who will update the detail of consumer in data base.
3. I have some issue in billing in September month my bill was Rs.235 and October I received the bill for Rs.769. Nobody is staying the house due metro issue is going on so, the bill should come in minim charges right.
4. I have successfully logged on to the BWSSB portal. I can view the previous bill paid details. I have not received the bill from 05/09/2016 to 05/10/2016. How can I generate a new bill to make online payment? Water meter reading must have been recorded by BWSSB staff but bill is not reached. Please assist, how can I know the current month bill amount and to pay online including online payment system also.

I WANT TO MAKE SECURITY DEPOSIT AMOUNT ON INSTALLMENT BASIS. SO I WANT TO KNOW MONTHLY AMOUNT TO MAKE ONE SHORT PAYMENT ONLINE. BUT MY DUE AMOUNT SHOWING INCLUDING SECURITY DEPOSIT. HELP ME TO SORT OUT THIS ISSUE.
For last two months I can see the online payments are charged extra.
Prior to the month of May my credit card was charged for the bill amount I pay.
But for the months of May and June I see almost 1.15% charged extra over the bill amount I paid.
There is no information about this extra charge.

I want pay online payment by way of net banking.
I paid the bills of BWSSB for the months of Jan 2016 and Feb 2016 through B1 online from Australia and generated the receipt also and saved. Since our house was locked the meter reader has generated a bill of Rs.1789 for April 2016 without deducting the previous bills paid for Jan and Feb paid online through B1 portal. In addition to that The BWSSB on line paying web is not opening for the last two months with several attempts to pay the bill online. Please reply with proper explanation as to the present status of your on line paying portal.
I paid the water bill online yesterday ie 20th May 2016 @4.18pm. The transaction was successful and the amount has also got detected by my bank a/c but this is not reflecting in BWSSB Portal. It is still displaying that I am due.
