Obtaining Learner Licence :

** Form No. 1 & 2 to be filledup alongwith attested copy of School Leaving Certificate and Resident Proof of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

** Recent 2 Passport Photograph to be affixed on forms.
** Fee of Rs.30/- for each class.

Eligibility :
** For Motor Cycle Without Gear – 16 years completed (Consent of Parent /Guardian Essential)
** For Motor Cycle with Gear & – 18 years completed.

Light Motor Vehicle :
** For Transport Vehicle – 20 years & minimum qualification of VIII Pass
** Form No. 1 & 2 to be filledup alongwith attested copy of School Leaving Certificate and Resident Proof of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
** Recent 2 Passport Photograph to be affixed on forms.
** Fee of Rs.30/- for each class.
** Biometrics of applicant
** Should conversant about Traffic Rules and Regulation as provided under Motor Vehicle Rules.

Process For Obtaining Permanent Driving Licence:
** Form No. 4 to be filledup alongwit valid original learner licence Should apply after 30 days and within 180 days after issue of learner licence.
** Should conversant about Driving and Traffic Rules and Regulations.

Fee:
** Rs.200 : for issuing of licence for test of competence to drive each class of vehicles.
** Rs.50 : for issuing of licence for test of competence to drive each class of vehicles.

Process For Obtaining Registration Of Vehicles:
** Form No.20 to be filledup
** Form No.21 (Sale Certificate) issued by the concern Dealer.
** Form N0.22 (Road Worthy Certificate) issued by Manufacturer.
** Original copy of Invoice issued by Dealer alongwith Manufacturer Invoice
** Original Temparary Registration Certificate issued by concerned RTO
** Attested copy of valid Insurance of Vehicles.
** Attested copy of address proof of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
** Attested copy of Pan Card.
** Application for Permit in case of Transport Vehicle.

Vehicles to be produced physically before the inspecting authority at the timeof registration at the office of Asstt. Director of Transport, Silvassa.

Process For Obtaining National Permit For Goods Carriage:
** The vehicle shall comply with the conditions prescribed under Rule, 1990 of Central Motor Rules, 1989.
** Application form No.48 to be filledup alongwith Form No.46
** Fee Rs.1000/- to be paid for authorization in Form 47.
** Composite fee Rs.16,500/- shall be paid either at State Bank of India Silvassa or through on line on web site vahan.nic.in
