SBI Life SMS based Services

Now information about your Policy is just a SMS away! We at SBI Life understand that time is paucity and therefore to help our customers on the go, we have recently launched various services through the mobile. A policyholder can get various information of his policy by sending just ONE SMS.

Registration:
A policyholder has to register for these services by sending a SMS to 56161 OR 9250001848 mentioning his policy number and date of birth (DOB, “DDMMYYYY” ) in the following format…

On sending the SMS for registration, the service will be activated within 24 hours. A confirmation SMS will be sent to the policyholder regarding the activation

What is my Customer ID?
Please refer the policy document to know your customer ID/No.

Does one need to create separate MyPolicy account for each of the policy?
No, if the customer ID is same you can enrol policy under one login name. Customer ID is the same for policies belonging to the same life assured.

If getting error “Invalid policy number”?
Please enter the alphabet in capital letter for policy number having alphabet.

What should be done for the error “This Policy has been already registered”?
It means your other policy with the same customer ID has been registered under MyPolicy. Please try login with that particular login details and enroll the policy by following the mentioned path: MyPolicy >> Enroll policy

Forgot Login name?
To recover login name : Kindly click on “Forgot login name”.Enter policy number > Date of Birth> Select hint questions or Customer id.You would receive the Login Name on the Registered Email ID

Additional Simplified Procedure

To register for SBI Life e-statements, you can follow these steps:
1. Go to the SBI Life Smart Care Self Service Portal (https://smartcare.sbilife.co.in).
2. Log in to your account using your policy number and password.
3. Click on the “My Policy” tab.
4. Click on the “E-Statements” link.
5. Select the policy number for which you want to register for e-statements.
6. Enter your email address and click on the “Register” button.

You will receive a confirmation email once you have successfully registered for e-statements. You can also register for SBI Life e-statements by sending an SMS from your registered mobile number:

Once you have registered for e-statements, you will receive an email notification whenever a new statement is available. You can then view your statement by logging in to your SBI Life Smart Care Self Service Portal account.
