E-Waybill Online Request :

This e-service enables the registered dealers of the Taxation Department to apply for Road Permits online, from the comfort of their homes/offices.

Using this electronic delivery system, the dealer does not have to visit the Taxation Office to get the Road Permit as the same can be requested online from the website. Once the request is approved by concerned officials, the system will sent SMS/e-mail to the dealer that the requests has been approved and the Road Permit can be printed and use for business transactions.

With the introduction of the Facilitation Centre at the Taxation Office, Dhanketi, Shillong it has been made mandatory for all dealers to apply for waybills thorough the online system (e-waybill) for all dealers registered in different circles in Shillong.

Many of the dealers who are computer savvy; apply for e-waybills from the comfort of their homes/offices.

Those dealers who are not yet comfortable with the online services or do not have the infrastructure, are availing the services through the facilitation centres.

How to Avail :
Only the Registered Dealers of the Taxation Department, Govt. of Meghalaya who possess a valid TIN & CST registration No. issued by the Taxation Department and generated by the back-end application can access this application.

Dealers, who use the application for the first time, must get themselves registered using the New User link and obtain a user ID and Password.

First time users must download the Barcode software into their machine by clicking INSTALL link below otherwise they will not be allowed to access the system.

A maximum of 100 waybills (Road Permit) are allowed to print by the dealer in one transaction.

Users are requested to note the Reference Number that will be generated by the system for future queries and printing of the Waybills.

Waybill(s) will be issued to the users after they have utilised at least 50% of the waybill issued in the last transaction.

Dealers are requested to install Acrobat Reader to print payment receipt.

Transport :
There are four National Highways NH 40, NH 44, NH 51, NH 62 in the State having a total length of 706.56 km. The public transport services have a sufficiently wide coverage linking the important places within the State and with places in neighbouring states.
