How To Do Delhi Nursing Council Overseas Verification?

Procedure for verification of the registration for sending to overseas licensing/and /or registration councils :
Write and submit an application addressed to the registrar of the Delhi Nursing Council on a plain paper quoting your address, Tel No. and Registration No. of Delhi Nursing Council.

Attach duly attested photocopies of the following documents :
** Xth and XIIth certificate having candidate’s name, Father’s Name and Date of Birth.
** Registration certificate, Diploma certificate, Degree (Both Side).
** Mark Sheet of GNM/B.Sc Nursing.
** Delhi Nursing Council registration certificate both sides.
** Marriage Certificate / office order / copy of voter card / Govt. Office Order/ affidavit on stamp paper of Rupees Twenty attested by notary.
** Conduct certificate issued by the employer.
** Experience certificate from the employer.
** Two recent frontal view passport size photographs on white background with hair tied neatly at the back.
** Payment of verification fee in Cash Rupees Five Hundred /equivalent to Fifty Dollar as applicable.
** Collect your payment receipt on submission of your application.

P.S. :
The council takes Fifteen to Thirty days to issue the letter of verification for the respective overseas body/organization. The letter of verification/good standing certificate after Fifteen to Thirty days will be sent by speed post to the respective overseas body/organization or the applicant or representative of the applicant with letter of authority can collect the sealed envelope if desired so. The sealed envelope without tampering should be sent to the addressee by the applicant The council does not take the responsibility of delay , any damage, loss in postal transition of the sealed envelope.

About Delhi Nursing Council

The Delhi Nursing Council developed after sustained efforts were put in by a group of nursing professionals in the year 1995 and who worked as a committee in close conduct with the Health Minister of Delhi. In the year 1997, bill got passed and in the year 2001, Delhi Nursing Council Act, 1997, Act No. 3 of 1999 along with rules, was notified on June 11, 2001.

In August, 2001 the constitution of Delhi Nursing Council was published and May 17, 2002. The Health Minister of Govt. NCT Delhi inaugurated the council.
** To provide data base of available practicing nurses in the state of Delhi
** To improve standards of health care in the state of Delhi

** To serve as an agency to develop nursing staffing norms, recruitment policy, pay & remuneration and any other nursing related policies.
** To enable the nurses, ANM/FHW, Midwives, Female Health Assistants to provide care to the patients by safe practices

Functions of Delhi Nursing Council

The Delhi Nursing Council (DNC) is a statutory body established by the Government of NCT of Delhi under the Delhi Nursing Council Act, 1997. The council is responsible for the regulation of nursing education and practice in the state of Delhi.

The functions of the Delhi Nursing Council include:
** Registering nurses: The DNC registers nurses who have completed a recognized nursing course. This registration allows nurses to practice nursing in the state of Delhi.
** Renewing the registration of nurses: The DNC renews the registration of nurses every year. This ensures that nurses are up-to-date on their knowledge and skills.
** Issuing licenses to nurses: The DNC issues licenses to nurses who want to practice nursing in a particular setting, such as a hospital or a clinic.
** Inspecting nursing schools: The DNC inspects nursing schools to ensure that they meet the required standards. This helps to ensure that nurses are trained to a high standard.
** Maintaining a register of nurses: The DNC maintains a register of all registered nurses in the state of Delhi. This register is used to track the number of nurses in the state and to ensure that nurses are registered with the council.
** Promoting the development of nursing: The DNC promotes the development of nursing in the state of Delhi. This includes providing training and support to nurses, and advocating for the interests of nurses.

    Thank you for all the information you have given. When i went to DNC on September 2021 to submit my overseas verification application, it was not accepted by hand and told me to send online. So I did it as i was told but I could not find the option for online payment. And I could not make the payment yet. I didnot received any acknowledgement whether my application is received or not. So kindly improve the activities of your office to update the right information on time.
