Delhi Nursing Council Registration Renewal

Renewal will only be done for the nurses who are employed in the state of Delhi.Renewal of Registration will be done for 5 years. Payment of Rs. 500/- for RN/RM & Rs.200/- for ANM.

Acquisition of 30 (thirty) CREDIT HOURS per year i.e. 150 Hours in 5 years gained by means of attending continuing education programmes and workshops.

Submission of true attested copy of certificates of continuing education programme or workshops attended.

Submission of Proof of being employed in Delhi since last one year.

Applicants must bring attested photocopies of all the documents to be Submitted at the time of Registration.

Three recent frontal view passport size photographs on white background with hair tied neatly at the back.

Photocopies (duly attested) of 10th and 12th class certificate. (School leaving) and Mark sheets.

Photocopies (duly attested) of mark sheets of all three / four years examination issued by Council/Exam Board/Universities.

Photocopy (duly attested) of diploma certificate / degree From Examination Board / Nursing Council / University.

Duly attested photocopy (Front and back) of registration certificate with Delhi Nursing Council.

Procedure for Verification / NOC for Registration with other state councils :
** Write and submit an application addressed to the registrar of the Delhi Nursing Council on a plain paper quoting your address, Tel No. and Registration No. of Delhi Nursing Council.
** Attach Original Delhi Nursing Council registration certificate.

** Payment of verification / NOC fee in Cash Rs. Two Hundreds and Fifty Rupees.
** Collect your payment receipt on submission of your application.

** One recent frontal view passport size photographs on white background with hair tied neatly at the back.
** Copy of your AADHAAR CARD IS MANDATORY with Application Form.

P.S. The council takes Fifteen to Thirty days to issue the letter of verification/NOC for the respective Council. The candidate or representative of the candidate with letter of authority within or after Fifteen to Thirty days can collect candidate’s own copy in the sealed envelope if so desired.

The NOC will be sent to the respective councils by speed post. The council does not take the responsibility of delay, any damage, loss in postal transition of the sealed envelope.

About Delhi Nursing Council

The Delhi Nursing Council developed after sustained efforts were put in by a group of nursing professionals in the year 1995 and who worked as a committee in close conduct with the Health Minister of Delhi. In the year 1997, bill got passed and in the year 2001, Delhi Nursing Council Act, 1997, Act No. 3 of 1999 along with rules, was notified on June 11, 2001.

In August, 2001 the constitution of Delhi Nursing Council was published and May 17, 2002. The Health Minister of Govt. NCT Delhi inaugurated the council.
