About Us:

The Pharmacy Act was enacted in the year 1948 to regulate the Profession & Practice of Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Council of India constituted under the Act for framing and implementing Education Regulations for minimum qualification required under the Act for a person to get himself/herself registered as a Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Council of India after due inspection gives approval to institutions which conduct course of Diploma in Pharmacy or Degree in Pharmacy.

The Act provides for the constitution of State Pharmacy councils for the maintenance of Registers of Qualified Pharmacists and to prohibit the dispensing of medicine on the prescription of Medical Practitioner by the persons other than Registered Pharmacists.

1. I have a major concern regarding MPPCI (Madhya Pradesh Pharmacy Council of India) office staff. They have picked the call and said to me, every time when I ask question kindly wait 1 minute. But I have wait 5-6 minutes every time and they are not responding to anything regarding my query. Why they people are not responding, I don’t understand because, they are getting the salary for these works only. They ignore every time and not responding. Kindly ask a person to check.

2. It seems, there is some loophole in the Standard Operating Process of MP Pharmacy Council of India that’s why, there are so many mistakes & delay in processing for new Registration & renewal cases. My application number PH201603574 is not moving at all from Department level 1 verification stage from November. It is not possible to contact any officials of MP PCA, Bhopal office, appearing a case like “this office is run by Clerical staff only without any Officers”.
