Online Budget Estimation :

1. Enter User Id
2. Enter Password

3. Click on the Login
4. Then you see the Online Budget Estimation 2017-18

How to Proceed :
1. How to Login into Budget Estimation Entry Package In the Login Page, enter User ID and Password in the corresponding Textbox and Click on “Login” button to login into the package.

2. For Merged Department Login For merged department, in the home page user can see the merged department name.
** Then User will choose component department from the department drop down for which data will be entered.

** Then user will go to the “Budget Estimate Entry” sub menu under “Plan Budget Estimate” menu for Budget Estimate Entry.
** In this page User can select Head of Account (at least up to Minor Head) and click on Search button to enter Revised and Budget Estimate.

3. For Non Merged Department Login For non merged department, in the home page user can see own department name.
** Then user will go to the “Budget Estimate Entry” sub menu under “Plan Budget Estimate” menu for Budget Estimate Entry.

** In this page User can select Head of Account (at least up to Minor Head) and click on Search button to enter Revised and Budget Estimate.

Online System for Credit Confirmation and Release of Funds :
At present different Departments are sending files through online as well as offline to Finance (Budget) Department for confirmation of credit of funds received from Government of India as Central Assistancesto State Plan Schemes[erstwhile CS/CN Schemes]and release of such funds from the State Budget.

Through offline system a considerable time is elapsed between sending a file for Credit confirmation, releasing of fund and sending back the file to the Administrative Department after approval from Finance Department.

It causes delay in utilization of fund for the development and social welfare projects of the State. To overcome these difficulties, the Finance.

Deportment, for some time past, considered and implemented the introduction of “Online System for Credit Confirmation-cum-Release of Funds” with effect from 15.09.2014 in terms of 666-FB dated 02.09.2014 for improving the earlier procedure of confirmation of credit of funds received from Government of India under Central Assistancesto State Plan Schemesand release of such funds for speedy implementation’ of developmental projects by the Administrative Departments.

About Us :
The Finance Department, Government of West Bengal is responsible for management of finances of the State Government.

It is concerned with all economic and financial matters affecting the State as a whole including mobilization of resources and allocation of resources for infrastructural development, social welfare, human development and administrative purposes.
