About Aadhaar

Aadhaar number is a 12-digit random number issued by the UIDAI (“Authority”) to the residents of India after satisfying the verification process laid down by the Authority.

Any individual, irrespective of age and gender, who is a resident of India, may voluntarily enrol to obtain Aadhaar number. Person willing to enrol has to provide minimal demographic and biometric information during the enrolment process which is totally free of cost.

Check Aadhaar & Bank Account Linking Status :
Aadhaar holders can check if their Aadhaar is linked to their bank account. Aadhaar Linking status is fetched from NPCI Server. Under any circumstance, UIDAI shall not be responsible or liable for the correctness of the displayed status. Further, UIDAI is not storing any information fetched from NPCI server.

1. Do all the billers accept payment using Credit Card?
Majority of the billers accept payments via the Kotak Credit Card. However, you will not be able to make Visa Credit Card Payments, Get Money or pay Direct Taxes with your Kotak Credit Card.

2. Is the waiver applicable on the delivery charge?
No. There is no waiver applicable on the delivery charge.

3. I do not remember my Kotak Debit Card PIN. How can I regenerate it?
You can regenerate your 6-digit Kotak Debit Card PIN by :
** Logging in to net banking at Official Website (Click on Banking -> Debit Card -> Regenerate Debit Card Pin)
** Logging in to Kotak Mobile Banking App (Click on Service Request -> Debit Card Requests -> Select -> Regenerate PIN)
** Call our 24 hours Customer Contact Centre toll-free at 1860 266 2666

4. I’d like to have a physical Debit Card as well. Can I apply for one?
Yes, you can. You can request one once your Kotak 811 savings account is opened. You can select the option to receive physical Debit Card in the account opening journey. You can also request one at a later date, via our Mobile Banking app. (Physical Debit card will be charged at Rs. 299 p.a.)

5. Will I be charged for using complimentary lounge access feature on eligible debit cards?
A nominal charge of Rs. 2 will be applicable every time you use complimentary lounge access facility. For details of number of complimentary lounge visits on your card, please visit Debit Cards and choose your card.
