ICICI Steps to Update PAN

To download iMobile, submit your 10 digit mobile number.*
** Login to your iMobile app using your Internet Banking ID/ Password or 4 digit PIN
** Click Services > Instabanking Services > Update PAN
** Enter your 12-digit PAN Number > Submit the Request


*Once you submit the number, we will call you to assist with iMobile activation. Please ensure that the mobile number is registered for mobile banking and has GPRS facility activated.

Internet Banking

** Login using Internet Banking User ID and Password
** Click on My Profile > Update PAN
** Enter 10-digit PAN > Submit
** Click here to update PAN in your bank accounts

Insta Banking Kiosk

** Login by using your debit card or Internet Banking credentials
** Click on > button besides your name
** Click on edit PAN number
** Enter your 10-digit PAN > Submit the request
** Click here to locate nearby Kiosk branches.

Cash Deposit Machine CDM

** Login by using your debit card credentials
** Select PAN updation option
** Enter your 10-digit PAN > Submit the request
** Click Click here to locate nearby CDM branches.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is possession of a Permanent Account Number (PAN) mandatory for obtaining a Registration?
Yes. Every person shall have a Permanent Account Number issued under the Income Tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) in order to be eligible for grant of registration under Section 19 of the Model GST Law.

However as per section 19 (4A) of MGL, PAN is not mandatory for a non-resident taxable person who may be granted registration on the basis of any other document as may be prescribed.

2. How can I update my PAN details in my credit card account?
You can update your PAN details by calling our Customer Care between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. from your registered mobile number. To know the local Customer Care numbers, please click here.

3. Is PAN card compulsory to open a savings account?
Yes. As per regulatory guidelines, a PAN card is mandatory to open a savings account.

4. How do I update my PAN details in my life insurance policy?
You can update your PAN details through any of the below mentioned modes
Website : Visit, go to Contact Information and click on ‘Update your PAN’ icon
SMS : Type PANC and send to 56767 from your registered mobile number
E-mail : E-mail your PAN details and your policy number to lifeline [AT] from your registered e-mail ID

5. In cases where customer does not have a PAN card, can form 60/61 be collected?
No. Customer has to submit a PAN card on a mandatory basis for the above scheme.
