Apply For Learner Driving License :

This is a temporary licence valid upto 6 months from the Date of Issue.

It is issued to learn driving of Motor Vehicles. No person shall drive a motor vehicle in any public place unless he holds an effective Driving license issued to him authorizing him to drive vehicle of that particular category.

get a Learner License :
Office : Contact your Local Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) i.e. S.D.M

Eligibility :
** Age of eligibility : 18 years for vehicle upto 50cc engine capacity without gear –16 years (Provided parents/guardian consent obtained.
** Conversant with Traffic rules & regulations.

Document Required :
The document required along with learner application form are as follows :
** Form No.1 (medical certificate) and blood group.
** Form No.2 (grant/renewal license) oapplicant photograph and completely fill with signature.
** Residential Certificate ( voter card/ passport/ telephone/electricity bill/ ration card etc attach any two attested copies
** Birth Certificate (Age) (Minimum age 18 years) (M.C. birth certificate, school certificate, PAN card and birth certificate issued from Civil Surgeon attach attested copies.)
** Self declaration certificate.
** Two passport size photographs.
** Valid fees/service charge.

Procedure :
** After verification of your documents you will have to go through a learner test. Before learner test, color blindness inspection is carried out.
** The learner test is conducted for a period of 10 minutes and it has 10 multiple objective type questions.
** The minimum marks to qualify are 6. The learning license is issued to the applicant who has passed this test.
** A handbook is provided to go through and learn before about the contents of learner’s test like Road signs, Traffic rules & regulations with the learners license application form.

Timing :
For public dealing 9 :00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. General office timing 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Fee Details :
** Scooter / Motorcycle 150 /- 50 /- 30 /- 230 /-
** Scooter / Motorcycle / Car 150 /- 50 /- 60 /- 260 /-
** Scooter / Motorcycle / Car / Tractor 150 /- 50 /- 90 /- 290 /-

Expected Delivery Period :
** 5 working days

Note :
** The above fee will be deposited at E-Disha Counter against Cash Reciept

Availability of Form.
** Applicant can download the blank form (or can get a blank file), fill the form manually and will make a complete file.
** Applicant comes to E-Disha centre for getting a complete file i.e. through online filing.
** Applicant can get a complete file using Web enables services with their own Computer.

BACK END PROCESS
** E-Disha operator will hand over all the documents with a check list generated by computer to the concerned clerk at the end of day.
** Concerned clerk will verify / check the documents and submit the documents to SDM for signature
** SDM will sign the Learner Licenses and concerned clerk will get back the signed Licenses from SDM
** Concerned clerk will hand over the Licenses to the E- Disha’s Operator. Learner License will be delivered to Applicant through Speed Post or Courier.
