Apply For Permanent Driving Licence :

Permanent Driving License :
To get permanent driving license , Applicant should have a valid learner licence. He can apply after 30 days and within 180 days from the date of issuance of learner licence. He should be conversant about the vehicle systems, driving, traffic rules & regulations. .

Get a Permanent Driving Licence :
** Office : Contact your Local Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) i.e. S.D.M.
** In order to apply for Permanent Driving License, Applicant should approach the office of Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) of your area for non-commercial vehicles and DTO office for commercial vehicles

Eligibility
** Valid learner licence.
** Can be applied after 30 days and within 180 days from the date of issue of Learner Licence.
** You should be conversant about the vehicle systems, driving, traffic rules and regulations.

Document Required :
The documents required along with permanent driving license application form are as follows :
** Form No.4 (license to drive motor vehicle) applicant photograph and completely fill with signature and duly passing by the Police Dy. Inspector
** Original Learner License.
** Residential Certificate ( voter card/ passport/ telephone/electricity bill/ ration card etc attach any two attested copies
** Birth Certificate (Age) (Minimum age 18 years) (birth certificate issued by M.C., school certificate, PAN card and birth certificate issued from Civil Surgeon attach attested copies.)
** Self declaration certificate.
** Valid fees/service charge.

Procedure
After scrutiny of the documents, the applicant is put through the driving test. For driving test, the applicant has to bring his vehicle with him. He is tested for his driving skills, familiarization with the vehicle, traffic rules & regulations. The applicant is asked about the vehicle system and safety.

Timings :
For public dealing 9 :00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. General office timing 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The above fee will be deposited at E-Disha Counter against Cash Reciept

Availability of Form.
** Applicant can download the blank form (or can get a blank file), fill the form manually and will make a complete file.
** Applicant comes to E-Disha centre for getting a complete file i.e. through online filing.
** Applicant can get a complete file using Web enables services with their own Computer.
