TSECL Online e-Payment

Web Self Service Portal has been successfully implanted in TSECL. Self-registration facility has been given to consumers. Consumers can also view their bills online.Payment will be posted to your account within 2 business days

Web Self Service Portal has been integrated with external payment gateway (Billdesk) such that consumers can pay their bill online. This manual describes screen and process flow for online payment.

Self-Registration :
TSECL consumers can register themselves to web self service portal using the following simple steps
** User opens TSECL website ( tsecl.gov.in)
** User clicks on Register Here Link (as shown below)
** User clicks on Click Here to Proceed to Registration Page TSECL Web Self Service – Online Payment Manual

Proceed to Self Registration :
User provides his/her consumer account number and clicks on Continue. Consumers may get their consumer account number from their previous TSECL Money Receipt or TSECL bill.

Marked section (in red) shown above is the Consumer Account Number. :
** User provides the details and clicks on Confirm

User Details Entry :
** A message is displayed that the user credentials have been sent to the given e-mail address.
** User checks his/her e-mail to get credentials (username/password)

Online Payment :
After successful registration, consumers can logon on to TSECL Web Self Service Portal and pay their bills online.
** User provides his/her username and password and clicks on Log in.
** User is logged on to Web Self Service Portal Home Page.
** User clicks on Online Payment
** User selects the bills to be paid and click on Make Payment. Pop-up window needs to be allowed while making online payment

Billdesk Payment Gateway :
** User provides banking information in respected bank site and confirms payment.
** For successful payment, user is shown payment confirmation page.

Payment Confirmation :
User clicks on View Receipt. Transaction receipt (PDF format) will be shown to the user

1. Government required payment of Bill early but, it seems that now a days it does not require. I will appeal to TSECL to make it easy to have payment of Bill early. Last nine months, I paid online but it was a hard task.

2. I have been paying online for many months, but since last month have not been able to do so. It becomes difficult to pay offline due to duty hours. Could you help in this matter?

3. After electric connection in my residence, I paid online electric bill, there is no any problem to pay online. This is fine system for avoiding unnecessary queue to pay bill.

4. The TSECL Quick Payment Portal is not working for about a week. Authority must look into it, which would be beneficial not only to the consumers but the corporation too.
