The Maharashtra government launched an online facility to enable citizens who have completed 14 days after second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to obtain passes to travel in suburban trains in Mumbai

Double Vaccinated Citizens can obtain travel passes from https://web.archive.org/web/20220903024803/https://epassmsdma.mahait.org/login.htm, a website developed by the state government. The e-pass should be saved on mobile phone and after showing it at the ticket counter at suburban stations, citizens will get monthly travel pass directly from the Railways.

No separate human interaction will be required for this online verification process.Offline verification will not be required at railway stations if commuters have obtained universal travel pass

Citizens who have completed at least 14 days after being administered a second dose of Covid-19 vaccine will be eligible for this e-pass facility.

How To Apply For Universal Travel Pass For Mumbai Trains?

Just follow the simple steps mentioned below to apply for Universal Travel Pass for Mumbai Trains

Step-1 : Go to the home page of the link epassmsdma.mahait.org
Step-2 : Click on the link “Universal Pass For Double Vaccinated Citizens”


Step-3 : Enter your mobile number which is used in COWIN Registration. Immediately after that, an OTP (One Time Password) will be received on the phone via an SMS.


Step-4 : After entering this OTP, details like beneficiary name, mobile number and reference number will appear automatically
Step-5 : Then Click On “Generate Pass” option
Step-6 : Upload your Photo. ( The applicant will have to upload his/her photograph in the ‘Self Image’ option)
Step-7 : Click on Submit button to apply for Double Vaccinated Citizens Universal Travel Pass for Mumbai Trains.

Note:
After completion of this process, the message will appear stating that the applicant will receive a link in 48 hours via SMS.

** Reach Vaccination Centre on the specified date and time
** Wait for 30 minutes at the vaccination centre after vaccination
** Inform vaccination centre if any side effect(s) is experienced within 30 minutes Inform

Error / Problem:
1. My husband is also registered with my same mobile number. But after 14 days of second dose, Universal pass is not generated. Being same registered number, only my universal pass is showing so, how my husband Universal pass will be generated by same mobile number.

2. I have uploaded my photo after scanning but, showing like rotated to left. Hence, I change the photo and same has been updated same day. But now again, the previous photo only showing and there is no change photo option. On website, there is no helpline number found.

** Your photo
9) Click on the “Submit” button.
10) You will receive a confirmation message.
