Document List Centers For Tata Power Connection

List of Document Submission Centers for Tata Power Connection
** Customers have to mandatorily visit any of the Document Submission Centers along with the necessary documents to initiate the new connection process.
** New Connection Request Notification will be cancelled if the Documents are not submitted within 3 working days

Important information while applying for new connection :
Ensure complete wiring with proper load distribution on all phases and a safe place for meter installation with minimum height of 2 ft. from the ground.

For load requirement 5 KW and above, proper earthing to be available :
** For 1 phase – MCB/ELCB (>= 5KW)
** For 3 phase – 4 Pole (MCCB & ELCB) or RCCB

How to register for a New Connection?
To register a new connection request, customers may use following options :
** Type TPDDL NEW and send to 56070 or
** Call our 24 Hrs. Sampark Kendra 011-66404040
** Visit nearest District Customer Care Centre
** Online through Customer Services section on our website tatapower-ddl.com

How to calculate the load to be applied :
Sanctioned load means the load in Kilo Watt, which is agreed to be supplied to the customer. The Sanctioned Load may be calculated by the simultaneous use of load (machines, appliances, fans, lights etc.) at any duration. For example : During Summer, AC Load shall be included for Sanctioned Load and Geyser shall not be, as both are normally not used together.

An application for new connection may be rejected due to reasons including but not limited to following :
** Documents not complete
** Wrong / forged information regarding address, supply type etc.
** Demand Note not paid
** Dues on premises not paid
** Wiring incomplete
** ELCB not installed (in case of load more than 5 KW)
** Separate dwelling unit not found (in case of separate connection for floor system)
** Electrification pending due to non-payment from land owning agencies.

1. I have applied for new connection at Model Town Office for Janta Vihar, Mukund Pur, Delhi and my request number is 2011002084. I called to customer care to know my status, he told me that, there is more than load than its capacity of the transformer and my request has been cancelled. He is not able to tell me, when the new heavy loaded transformer will be installed. There is lots of Abadi (People) at Janta Vihar, who had applied for new connection and constructing their plots, suffering from this problem. This is my humble request you to please tell me, when it will be installed? So that, we may not suffer this problem for long time.

2. I was applied and completed all required activities but, my meter is not installed till today, it is too late. It proves that, NDPL is going like DESU. I was applied on September 21st but, may be false objection applied and it’s too late when department will aware.
