How To Apply For Godavari Gas Domestic PNG Connection?
To apply for Godavari Gas Domestic PNG Connection, Follow the below steps
Steps:
A. Contact GGPL site office or DMA’s nearest site office.
B. Application form can be filled online or can be downloaded from our website.
Fill the registration form Submit duly filled and signed registration form Submit it along with Proof of Identity (Any one of the following: PAN Card/ Passport/Voter Id Card/ Driving License/Ration Card) or Proof of ownership of the establishment (Copy of Sale Deed Agreement/Rent Agreement/Electricity bill/BSNL Telephone bill/Society Certificate etc.) c. If the technical Feasibility is possible at your place, Registration form can be filled online. The Customer can upload the Proof Of Identity and proof Of Ownership online and can also pay the registration amount online.

Registration Charges & Security Deposit:
Non refundable Registration fee of Rs.300/- + GST@18% Interest free refundable Security Deposit of Rs.5000/- or Non-refundable fixed Charges of Rs. 100/- payable along with every bi monthly gas consumption bill (In lieu of interest refundable security fee of security deposit of Rs 5000/- towards PNG Connection). Interest free Security Deposit of Rs.1000/- against gas consumption In case of GI/ Copper Pipeline exceeds beyond 15 Meters, the following rates shall be charged for the extra pipe length.

Site survey to assess feasibility of gas connection Laying of MDPE after getting necessary permissions from the concerned civic authorities. Laying of riser/vertical piping to provide connectivity to the registered customers Installation of meter. Fitting and testing of GI/Copper pipe and accessories. Conversion of LPG stove to PNG and activation of gas connection.

Benefits of PNG
Safe:
** PNG being lighter than air, disperses easily and avoids spontaneous flammability
** Narrow inflammability range makes PNG one of the safest fuels. The combustible mixture of natural gas and air does not ignite if the mixture is leaner than 5% and richer than 15% of the airfuel ratio required for ignition.
** Natural gas is lighter than air. Therefore, in case of a leak, it quickly disperses into air with adequate ventilation.
** PNG is supplied through pipelines at a very low pressure, so it is a safer system as the quantity of Natural Gas is very small inside the premises.
** In case of fire, PNG supply can be cut off through valves provided in the pipelines inside and outside of the kitchen.
** Since natural gas is odourless, ethyl mercaptan (a chemical that has a sulphur-like odour) is added before distribution, to give it a distinct odour. This is similar to the odour of LPG and serves as a safety device by allowing it to be detected in the atmosphere in cases of leak.
