How To Obtain Local People Employment Certificate in Assam?

As per New Industrial Policy, the Establishment / Organization / Industry seeking subsidy on building, power line, etc. and concession on tax rebate, etc., the Establishment / Organization / Industry concerned has to get a Certificate on Employment for the people of Assam from the concerned District Employment Exchange under whose jurisdiction the Establishment / Organization / Industry falls.

Steps:
** Visit District Employment Exchange under whose jurisdiction the Establishment / Organization / Industry falls.
** Apply in plain paper along with the relevant documents.
** Ascertaining the eligibility of the Establishment / Organization / Industry by District Employment Exchange Officials.
** The Establishment / Organization / Industry has to apply in plain paper for Certificate on Employment for the people of Assam in the concerned District Employment Exchange under whose jurisdiction the Establishment / Organization / Industry falls.
** Produce the relevant documents,
** The District Employment Exchange Official Check the Application Form and verifies the documents,

** The Establishment / Organization / Industry must have registration in District Industries and Commerce Centre under the Department of Industries and Commerce, Govt. of Assam.
** The Establishment / Organization / Industry is required to notify about the vacancies in the local Employment Exchange before filling up.
** The Establishment / Organization / Industry must engage local people of Assam as its employees.
** The Establishment / Organization / Industry is required to have ESI Registration.
** The Establishment / Organization / Industry is required to have Labour Licence Registration under the Labour Department.
